Launching in Albany, NY

Drive for Albany's local ride.
Keep more of every fare.

Cavalier is a new rideshare app starting in Albany. We take 20% of each fare until you've paid $75 for the week. After that, you keep 100% for the rest of the week.

  • $75 max per week
  • 100% of fares after that
  • 1st month free for every new driver

How pay works

One simple weekly limit instead of a cut of every ride, forever.

  1. 1
20% of each fare goes toward your weekly $75.
  2. 2
Once you've paid $75 that week, you're done paying.
  3. 3
Keep 100% of every fare for the rest of the week.

Typical rideshare apps

Take a big cut of every fare, on every ride, all week. The more you drive, the more they take.

20% until you've paid $75 for the week. Every fare after that is all yours.

What riders pay, and you earn from

We launch with riders waiting

A rideshare app is only as good as its ride requests. We're building a rider waitlist before launch and starting on a set date in one busy area, so drivers aren't left sitting around without rides.

  • Pre-launch rider waitlist
  • A set launch date
  • Starting in one dense part of Albany

Questions

How does the $75 weekly cap work?

Every week, 20% of each fare goes to Cavalier until the total reaches $75. After that you keep 100% of your fares for the rest of the week. If 20% of your fares comes to less than $75, you only pay that 20%. The count starts over each week.

When does Cavalier launch?

We'll launch on a set date once the rider waitlist is ready. Everyone who signs up will hear about it first by text and email.

Where will I drive?

Albany first. We're starting in one dense area so riders get quick pickups and drivers stay busy, then growing from there.

How do payouts work?

Payouts will be weekly. Full details will be shared before launch.

Is this a job?

No. Cavalier drivers will be independent drivers, not employees on a schedule. The full driver terms will be shared before launch.
